Our Work Continues

A commitment to community empowerment

Victims of Police Brutality and Injustices should be archaic. However we are still fighting an unyielding enemy of inhumane treatment of Black/Brown Lives.

We gathered with volunteers and friends of family of the Late Samuel Celestin after his horrific death by Ocoee Police, and Windermere Police were called to assist in transporting Mr. Celestin to a local medical facility. However, Mr. Celestin was hogtied and tased until he became unresponsive. To date, no charges have been filed against the officers.

Community Empowerment

Our Mission

It has been our honor to advocate for families and individuals navigating through the most horrific occurrences. Yet, there is still a disconnect throughout our Central Florida communities that we are compelled to assist and extend our advocacy.

Veterans

Our country’s service-members aren’t always celebrated nor given a fair assessment during active duty. They are left to fend for themselves after separating from their various military branches. Most become homeless, alcohol-drug addicted, and a larger percentage unable to gain access to Veteran Affairs. Therefore being denied healthcare, housing and other military benefits. Our mission is to assist our service-members gaining access to Veteran officials who may be able to assist in upgrading their military discharge status.

Women/Children/Families

There are countless innocent families and individuals who have fallen victim to domestic abusers, domestic violence, sex trafficking, sexual abuse and violence. Our mission is to partner with community advocates, agencies; state and local who will render aid, housing, and those vital resources desperately needed.

Community Empowerment

Society has a tendency to marginalize the economic disadvantaged, Black/Brown cultures, mentally disabled, convicted felons (nonviolent crimes), drug/alcohol abusers…We were once homeless and disadvantaged, among other areas of disability. We have the background, heart and ability to make a difference.

advocacy Updates

We Are Committed

We will continue to advocate and extend our civil rights initiative.

On April 11, 2019, Samuel Celestin suffered a severe crisis at his home in Ocoee, FL. He became disoriented and unaware of his surroundings. His mother and sister called 911 for assistance in getting Samuel transported to a mental health facility.

Shortly after police officers arrived at the Celestin home, Samuel would be held at gunpoint, tased repeatedly, held down and hogtied, and left lying on his stomach until he stopped breathing.

Following his autopsy on April 12, 2019, the Medical Examiner ruled Samuel’s death a homicide.
